Laboratory Testing

Accurate Diagnostics With Quick Results

Diagnostic tests help veterinarians in a variety of ways, including monitoring drug regimens, parasite control, health screening, and diagnosing medical conditions. Routine blood work is also important in wellness care, since it provides baseline information and identifies any emerging health problems before symptoms might become apparent.

When our pets are sick or injured, they can’t tell us what hurts. Many illnesses and injuries are not obvious outwardly. Diagnostic tools such as bloodwork, urinalysis, X-rays, and ultrasound allow us to determine what is going on inside the pet. The sooner we can identify the problem, the sooner we can begin treatment. Results are often called to you the same day or next day, putting your mind at ease.

When a pet is ill, quick and accurate diagnosis is critical to determine effective treatment. Our doctors choose diagnostic tests carefully and cost-effectively, providing the most information at an affordable cost. Tests that are sent out to nationally recognized labs are usually reported to us the following day. Our doctors call with results as soon as possible. Clients are often pleasantly surprised to get results so quickly. Fast results and a timely treatment plan help your pet to recover quickly.
